AHR Expo México 2026 opens in Guadalajara

The AHR Expo México 2026 has opened at Expo Guadalajara, serving as a major Latin American gathering for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. The event marks the beginning of the organization's 30th anniversary.

The exhibition features over 440 companies across 20,000 square meters, with an expected attendance of more than 13,000 professionals from Mexico and over 40 other countries. The expo highlights technological evolutions in HVACR, focusing on automation, digitalization, and sustainability to meet demands for energy efficiency and improved air quality.

Key sectors benefiting from these technological advancements include construction, manufacturing, healthcare, cold chains, and data centers. In the data center sector, there is a growing emphasis on liquid cooling solutions to manage high thermal loads and reduce energy consumption.

In Mexico, the HVACR sector is a significant economic driver, valued at over 183 billion pesos and contributing approximately 0.57% to the national GDP. The industry maintains an average annual growth rate of 7% and supports roughly 120,000 direct and 480,000 indirect jobs. Jalisco remains a strategic hub for the industry, leading national imports of air conditioning machinery.
