AHRESP to host 1st National Chocolate Conference in Óbidos

The Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Similar of Portugal (AHRESP) will host the 1st National Chocolate Conference on September 30 in Óbidos. Held at the Praça da Criatividade, the event is organized through the National Chocolate Platform under the theme “Innovation, Knowledge and Future.”

The conference aims to bring together professionals and industry experts for a program featuring debates, knowledge sharing, and tastings. Key topics include the future of chocolate regarding trends and sustainability, marketing and branding, disruptive innovation, and professional development within the sector.

Featured sessions include “From Fruit to Excellence,” led by chocolatier Francisco Siopa, and historical gastronomy workshops. Participation is free, though mandatory registration is required.
