AHSA expands agricultural network with new members and partners

The Association of Horticulturalists, Fruit Growers, and Floriculturists of the Odemira and Aljezur Municipalities (AHSA) has expanded its network by adding three new members and two new partners. The new members include Hortifrut, ByBlue Innovation, and Masiá Ciscar, bringing the total number of associates to over 40. The new partners are Median and Iberpower, extending the association's partner network to more than 20.

AHSA President Luís Mesquita Dias stated that these additions reinforce the association’s growth strategy and contribute to a more diverse and dynamic community committed to sustainable development and agricultural innovation.

The new members focus heavily on small fruits and research. Hortifrut is a global leader in wild berry production with a presence in over 15 countries. ByBlue Innovation specializes in R&D within physical and natural sciences, specifically focusing on agricultural innovation for berry varieties. Masiá Ciscar, an agricultural company founded in Spain, is a reference in strawberry and raspberry production and operates within the European red fruit production hub in Odemira, Portugal, while also maintaining activities in Mexico and Morocco.
