AI adoption accelerates in telecommunications testing and network maintenance

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, has introduced the Test Automation Kit (TAK). This agentic AI framework is designed to accelerate the validation of broadband and 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) devices by converting natural language instructions into executable, self-repairing Python scripts. The tool aims to reduce manual labor and help engineers keep pace with evolving technologies like Wi-Fi 7.

In Spain, Vodafone España has implemented a predictive AI solution developed in collaboration with Optare Solutions. Utilizing the Augura Tech platform, the system analyzes daily fiber connection data to identify potential connectivity issues before they impact users. Since its commercial deployment in April, the technology has reportedly reduced customer equipment-related incidents by 25%, allowing for preventive maintenance and more stable service.
