AI adoption drives industrial automation and job market shifts in Poland

The integration of artificial intelligence is reshaping both industrial processes and the labor market in Poland. In the industrial sector, computer vision technology is moving beyond research labs into practical applications such as product defect detection, safety monitoring, and quality control. However, successful implementation requires moving beyond mere tool selection to defining specific business goals and ensuring data accurately reflects real-world production environments.

Simultaneously, the demand for AI-related competencies is rising within the Polish workforce. Data from Google and Pracuj.pl indicates that job offers in the SME sector requiring AI skills grew from approximately 3,200 in 2024 to 5,700 in 2025. Furthermore, a PwC study noted that AI-related job postings in Poland increased by roughly 33,000 in 2025, reaching a total of 80,000, though these still represent 3.5% of all job offers.

Employers are increasingly seeking a range of skills, from basic proficiency in using AI chats for information synthesis to advanced capabilities in task automation and the creation of reasoning agents. According to EY, 34% of medium and large Polish enterprises have already implemented AI solutions, with another 43% currently in the process of doing so, driven primarily by the desire to automate internal processes and improve customer reach.
