AI adoption expands through Optim management tools and OpenAI partner network

Optim has launched ‘OPTiM Biz AI Agent β’, a cloud service designed to centralize and manage generative AI usage within corporations. The platform aims to mitigate ‘shadow AI’ by detecting unauthorized AI service use on company devices and redirecting users to approved, official environments. It provides tools for visualizing usage, managing costs, and creating shared AI agents for specific business tasks, such as drafting proposals or organizing meeting minutes.

In a separate development regarding AI adoption in Japan, OpenAI is expanding its ‘OpenAI Partner Network’ with a $150 million investment aimed at training 300,000 certified consultants by the end of 2026. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between advanced AI model capabilities and practical business value by providing the specialized expertise required to integrate AI into existing workflows.

New partners in Japan, including Leverages Knowledge, Simplex, and Recursive, are focusing on bringing AI expertise to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These companies aim to help SMEs leverage AI to automate tasks that were previously difficult due to limited IT investment, potentially transforming operational efficiency across the Japanese industrial sector.
