Controlware Security Day 2026 Focuses on AI‑Driven Cyber Threats

Controlware will host its 18th Security Day on 23‑24 September 2026 at Congress Park in Hanau, Germany. The free two‑day event will address the rapid evolution of AI models that accelerate vulnerability discovery and exploit development, a trend highlighted by Controlware CEO Bernd Schwefing: "Die Fähigkeiten der neuesten KI Modelle zur Analyse von Software, Identifikation von Schwachstellen und Entwicklung von Exploits dafür haben bestätigt, was sich schon länger abgezeichnet hat."

The programme features about 40 expert talks, workshops and a showcase with more than 20 security partners. Keynotes include Volker Kozok on state‑directed cyber warfare, Dr. Volker Busch on creativity, and Tobias Schrödel on digital forensics. Controlware staff Nils Rogmann and Christoph Schmidt will discuss the opportunities and risks of agentic AI and modern AI‑enhanced security architectures. Registration is open at the Controlware website.

The conference aims to provide practical guidance on managed security services, AI‑assisted security concepts and innovative vendor solutions to help companies and public agencies stay ahead of faster‑moving attackers.
