AI adoption rises as costs fall and visibility gaps emerge

Recent industry studies highlight a shifting landscape in corporate AI integration and visibility. A study by Rezolve Ai found that one in four U.S. companies is invisible to leading AI assistants such as OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. This includes nearly 20% of S&P 500 companies, suggesting a significant gap in how businesses are discovered through AI-driven product searches. Additionally, the research noted that 97 of the 100 largest U.S. retailers lack mechanisms for AI agents to complete checkouts.

Simultaneously, data from the Ramp AI Index indicates that while corporate spending on AI has decreased since a July peak, usage has surged. Through September, AI usage increased nearly 50%, reaching an all-time high. This trend is driven by falling costs; the price for effective tokens decreased by 41% to approximately $0.68 per million tokens. This price reduction, fueled by competition between providers like OpenAI and Anthropic, is enabling enterprises to deploy AI more extensively and selectively across various tasks.
