AI agent implementation faces operational and context challenges

The adoption of AI agents in business and mobile app monitoring faces significant operational hurdles. In the mobile sector, the primary bottleneck for agentic tools is not model intelligence, but rather the availability of comprehensive context. Luciq suggests that for AI to effectively diagnose and resolve issues, tools must capture complete, agent-ready context at the moment of failure, as mobile context cannot be added retroactively.

For broader enterprise AI implementation, companies face a difficult choice between building, buying, or using managed services. Building internal AI agents is often underestimated as a one-time project; instead, it requires ongoing operations including orchestration, evaluation, knowledge management, and 24/7 monitoring. Due to the high cost and complexity of maintaining these systems, Gartner predicts that over 40% of agentic AI projects will be canceled by the end of 2027.
