AI agent marketplaces expand and new safety directory grades thousands of skills

The AI agent marketplace Agensi, based in Amsterdam and backed by Antler, reported that three months after launch it has more than 2,000 curated skills, 3,000 registered users and 50,000 monthly visitors. The platform connects verified creators with freelancers, consultants and small teams, offering specialist skills that can be added to AI agents in about 30 seconds. Founder and CEO Samuel Rose said, “Software is shifting from tools humans operate to tools agents run.”

At the same time, the AgentSkills Hub has launched a free AI Agent Safety Directory that evaluates the security of AI agent skills and MCP servers. The directory tracks over 117,000 items, refreshes its catalog every eight hours and assigns a 0‑100 safety score based on ten weighted signals. Research behind the service found that 26.1% of more than 31,000 examined skills contain vulnerabilities such as prompt‑injection risks or credential exposure, highlighting the need for systematic grading before deployment.
