AI and digital collaboration highlighted at ASOCIO and ASEAN-Japan summits

The ASOCIO Digital & AI Summit 2026 concluded in Jakarta, focusing on artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and cross-border collaboration. During the event, Myanmar was selected to host the 2027 summit. The three-day gathering included keynote sessions and a Pitch Networking session designed to connect award recipients with international technology executives and potential business partners.

In a separate regional effort, the Government of Japan hosted a virtual ASEAN Summit Focus Session to advance the ASEAN–Japan Co-Creation Initiative for AI. This initiative aims to drive innovation and growth for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) through AI adoption. Japanese AI companies, including Spectee, Inc., MATSUO Institute, Inc., and Preferred Networks, Inc., participated to demonstrate practical applications of AI intended to improve business competitiveness and foster a secure regional AI ecosystem.
