AI and digital tools optimize corporate logistics and document processing
Companies are increasingly adopting digital solutions and artificial intelligence to optimize internal logistics and administrative workflows.
In the logistics sector, COSYS provides software designed to digitize parcel distribution. By scanning barcodes via mobile devices, companies can create digital profiles for incoming shipments, including sender, recipient, department, and timestamps. The system also utilizes AI image analysis to detect and document physical damage to packages, allowing businesses to track volumes, identify peak delivery times, and monitor the performance of various courier service providers.
In administrative finance, DFKP GmbH implemented an external AI platform to automate document processing. Previously, sorting and entering data from approximately 1,000 daily documents required 2.5 to 3 full-time employees. Since implementing the automated system in early 2025, the workload has been reduced to 0.5 full-time employees. This transition has also reduced error rates from 25 cases per week to approximately two or three, enabling the company to triple its document volume without increasing headcount.
