AI chat game 'Encouraging Nobunaga' launches on Steam in Japan
Steam released the AI‑driven chat game “Encouraging Nobunaga” (励ます信長) on 27 July 2026. The title lets players converse with a virtual Oda Nobunaga who offers motivational words when users feel down, face challenges, or need encouragement. The AI runs entirely on the user’s PC, does not require an internet connection, and uses VOICEVOX for speech synthesis. The game is priced at ¥655 (including tax).
The same week saw several new video‑game releases and sales in Japan, including titles such as “Halo: Campaign Evolved”, “Xenoblade 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition”, and “Mistfall Hunter”, alongside discounts on classic games like “Trails in the Sky the 1st”, “Genso Suikoden I & II”, and “SEKIRO”.
