Modular CDU designs are presented as essential for scaling AI infrastructure reliably and cost‑effectively, avoiding over‑provisioning, inefficient space use, limited flexibility and stranded capacity that can arise with monolithic units. Modularity enables incremental capacity upgrades, better space utilization and reduced capital waste, supporting multi‑megawatt AI environments.
