AI emerges as a major cybersecurity threat for corporations

A report from PwC indicates that artificial intelligence is emerging as a primary cybersecurity threat for corporations. According to the Global Digital Trust Insights survey, 50 percent of participating companies report being least prepared to handle cyberattacks targeting AI systems.

While organizations are rapidly increasing AI usage, many lack sufficient readiness regarding new types of threats. Approximately 84 percent of organizations plan to increase cybersecurity investments by 2027, with AI identified as the highest priority area. Experts note that many companies are investing in AI before establishing proper data governance, mapping, or classification protocols.
