AI-Enabled Finance Platforms Datarails and IDS Roll Out New Services

Datarails announced its AI Transformation Package, a service that embeds a Forward Deployed Financial Engineer (FDFE) within a customer’s finance team to build custom AI workflows in the Datarails FinanceOS environment. The offering responds to research showing that 31% of finance jobs now require AI skills and aims to deliver a live production workflow within a quarter through a four‑phase model and 25 hours of engineer time per quarter.

IDS released version 2026.3.0 of its Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) platform, adding AI‑powered capabilities for program, financial and acquisition management. New features include AI Insights within records, three Proactive Intelligence Agents, and a funding widget that highlights required, approved, authorized and unfunded amounts. CCaR AI entered production for U.S. Army customers on July 16, supporting the management of more than $4 trillion in appropriated and foreign military sales funding.
