AI Festa 26 to showcase defense AI and host industry policy talks

The upcoming AI Festa 26, scheduled for October 6–8 at COEX in Seoul, will feature significant advancements in artificial intelligence technology and policy discussions. Konan Technology is set to participate in the Defense AI Special Pavilion, where it will debut its multi-source information fusion analysis platform. The company also plans to showcase its Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) automatic collection and analysis services, designed to support intelligence analysis by processing and translating defense and security information from North Korea and overseas.

Additionally, Konan Technology will demonstrate ‘Lingo-X’, a real-time AI interpretation solution supporting 32 languages, intended for use in multinational training and defense diplomacy.

On the policy front, the National AI Strategy Committee will host an industry talk show at the event. Ha Jung-woo, Vice Chairman of the committee, will meet with AI companies and industry stakeholders to discuss regulatory hurdles, infrastructure needs, talent acquisition, and data utilization. The insights gathered from these discussions are intended to inform future national AI policy and support the broader industrial ecosystem.
