AI health technology companies Vocca and Vinyl Health secure new funding
Vocca, an AI platform for medical practitioners, has announced a $20 million Series A funding round led by Norrsken VC, with participation from Heal Capital, Speedinvest, and Firstminute Capital. The company, which has raised a total of $25 million to date, provides AI agents that automate patient interactions across more than 20 medical specialties. Vocca reports that its tools currently serve 15,000 practitioners across 1,500 practices in the United States and Europe, handling over one million monthly conversations.
Separately, New Jersey-based Vinyl Health has raised $2 million in seed funding led by HealthX Ventures. The company is developing an AI-powered personal health assistant designed to help patients record, organize, and interpret their medical information. The platform aims to centralize fragmented healthcare data, such as appointment summaries and treatment plans, to help users better understand their ongoing care.
