Hana Ghassan leads Pará gubernatorial race in new poll

An AtlasIntel opinion poll regarding the political landscape in Pará indicates that Vice-Governor Hana Ghassan (MDB) is the frontrunner for the 2026 gubernatorial election. According to the survey, registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Ghassan holds a significant lead, potentially securing a victory in the first round with 53.3% of valid votes.

Her primary opponent, Dr. Daniel Santos (Podemos), follows in second place with 44.4%. Other candidates, including Araceli Lemos (PSOL) and Roberto Pereira (PRTB), trail significantly with minimal percentage shares. In a projected second-round runoff, Ghassan maintains a lead of 54.1% against Santos's 45.9%.

The data highlights Ghassan's strength among specific demographics, particularly women, where she holds 58.1% of the voting intention, and in the capital city of Belém, where she leads with 55.8%.
