Japanese industry leaders host events on practical AI integration

Various Japanese technology and industrial sectors are hosting events focused on the practical application and strategic integration of artificial intelligence.

At the AI Expo Fukuoka 2026, Co-Labo AI CEO Sora Otsuka presented on the concept of ‘AI conversion rates,’ discussing how companies can decide between in-house development and outsourcing based on security, user count, and duration. The presentation emphasized moving from merely using AI to achieving tangible results on the ground.

LeapAI has announced a networking event for marketing professionals on October 28 at WeWork Tokyo Port City Takeshiba. The session will address the shift from the quantity of AI-generated video content to the ‘quality’ of creative design, using real-world advertising success and failure cases to guide discussions.

Additionally, the Ipros AI-Industrial World 2026 exhibition will feature a special lecture by Denso's Masaji Suzuki. The talk will explore the evolution of automotive value from driving performance to user experience, arguing that Japanese manufacturers must fuse software with traditional hardware strengths to remain competitive against US and Chinese markets.
