AI implementation faces challenges in meeting actual business needs
Martin Linder, former chairman of Unionen, highlights a disconnect between technological capability and actual business needs regarding artificial intelligence. He notes that many AI initiatives fail to deliver measurable profitability, with estimates suggesting up to 95 percent of corporate AI pilots do not result in significant financial impact.
Linder argues that the focus often remains on efficiency and cost rather than addressing the specific needs of users and customers. This lack of alignment between technology and human requirements can lead to failed projects and wasted investments. He suggests that existing frameworks, such as the Co-Determination Act, may be useful tools for managing the integration of AI in the workplace.
