AI infrastructure firms DXN and SCX.ai secure major contracts and partnerships

DXN has secured a $12.2 million turnkey contract to design, manufacture, and install a 2 megawatt high-performance computing (HPC) modular data centre for an undisclosed AI compute operator. The project will integrate power, cooling, security, and building management systems into a single high-density data hall, with operations expected to begin in the new year. This follows a previous $8.8 million deal with a US-based neo-cloud operator.

Separately, SCX.ai has entered a strategic partnership with DDN to expand Australia’s largest sovereign AI inferencing cloud. Following its recent ASX debut, SCX.ai will combine its ASIC-accelerated infrastructure with DDN’s Infinia data intelligence platform. The collaboration aims to increase AI performance and lower costs per token, supporting greater volumes of concurrent workloads for enterprises and government agencies while keeping sensitive data onshore.
