AI infrastructure scales from GPU workstations to urban data centers
The landscape of industrial AI is shifting toward scalable infrastructure that connects GPU computing with data centers. Baro AI is set to showcase its expansion strategy at the 2026 Industrial AI EXPO, featuring the ‘POSEIDON’ series of liquid-cooled AI servers and the ‘HACC’ urban AI data center. The POSEIDON lineup includes the ‘Alpha’ workstation for R&D using NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs and the ‘Quadro’ rack-mounted server for larger industrial workloads. These systems are designed to scale seamlessly into the HACC data center, which utilizes direct chip liquid cooling (DLC) to manage high-density GPU resources within existing urban buildings.
Complementing this hardware evolution, industry experts are calling for a stronger focus on AI-native platforms. Jung Chul, chairman of the AI Native Platform subcommittee at the Korea Artificial Intelligence Cloud Industry Association (KACI), emphasizes that infrastructure and models alone are insufficient for national competitiveness. He argues that a platform acts as the essential ‘distribution network’ that connects power-generating GPUs and AI models to actual industrial applications. Such platforms are critical for small and medium-sized enterprises to manage expensive GPU resources efficiently, monitor model quality, and avoid vendor lock-in by allowing seamless transitions between different global AI models and infrastructures.
