AI integration expands across real estate and e-commerce sectors

Artificial intelligence is increasingly being integrated into consumer and professional markets to streamline tasks. In the Alberta real estate sector, agents are utilizing AI tools to virtually stage property photos. This technology allows for the digital furnishing of empty or outdated rooms to showcase a home’s potential. While some professionals argue that physical staging provides a more authentic emotional connection for buyers, others note that AI can reduce costs and speed up the marketing process. Industry experts suggest pairing AI-enhanced images with original photos to maintain transparency.

In the consumer e-commerce space, the UAE-based platform dubizzle reported that its ‘Sell with AI’ feature has supported over 1.66 million new net listings. The tool assists users by generating descriptions for pre-owned items, reducing the effort required to create informative listings. In September, the most common categories utilizing this AI assistance included furniture, home and garden products, home appliances, clothing, and electronics.
