AI integration reshapes HR practices and employee experience

A recent study by Indeed indicates that 64% of decision-makers expect a lasting transformation in human resources policies. To adapt to increasing uncertainty, 86% of respondents are already using or planning to integrate artificial intelligence into their HR practices.

Key applications for AI in HR include data analysis (84%), administrative automation (83%), and recruitment assistance (79%). These tools are intended to facilitate decision-making and free up time for employee support. Investment in digitalizing HR processes is rising, with 40% of organizations planning to increase spending, a figure that reaches 50% in the manufacturing sector.

However, the shift toward automation presents new challenges. While AI and restructuring improve efficiency by handling repetitive tasks like report writing and data entry, some leaders are concerned about a “deprivation of experience.” There is a growing risk that junior employees may lack the foundational practice necessary for professional development as basic tasks are automated.
