AI-powered robotics and BIM tools highlighted at Brazil's tech events

Google DeepMind unveiled the Gemini Robotics 2 platform, featuring an "intelligent whole‑body control" system that lets humanoid robots coordinate arms, legs, hands and torso in real time. The architecture combines vision, visual language and action models, enabling robots to walk while carrying objects, adjust posture, and perform delicate tasks with greater precision.

At the Concrete Show in Brazil, the new Arena Imersiva at the Construindo Conhecimento congress showcased practical applications of artificial intelligence and Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the construction sector. Workshops, organized with BIM Fórum Brasil and ConstruLAB, demonstrated how AI‑driven BIM tools are improving productivity, management and processes across the industry, supporting the sector’s shift toward digitalisation and industrialisation.
