Ai+ rolls out Nxt Quantum OS v1.1 with local data routing
Ai+ Smartphone has released Nxt Quantum OS version 1.1, a software update focused on data sovereignty and enhanced user privacy. The update implements a strict data boundary by routing all general application traffic through local Indian servers.
A technical audit of the software build indicates that the majority of network activity is contained within India, with 147 out of 172 unique destination IP addresses belonging to Indian networks, primarily hosted on Bharti Airtel. The audit reported zero connections to servers in China or Hong Kong. External data traffic is restricted to essential Google services routed through servers in California, United States, and Singapore to maintain standard Android system operations.
New features include the NxtPrivacy Dashboard, which centralizes application permission management, allowing users to review, modify, or revoke access from a single interface. The update also introduces background tracking alerts to notify users when applications access device features while not actively in use.
