The Horizon Institute for Public Service has opened applications for its AI Rapid Response Fellowship 2026, a one‑year program that places experienced AI, cybersecurity and policy professionals within U.S. federal agencies. Fellows will work on AI security, critical‑infrastructure protection and national‑security priorities, earning salaries from $170,000 to over $250,000. Applications close on 22 July 2026, with most positions based in Washington, D.C., and a few remote options.

Separately, Singapore’s AI Safety Fellowship 2026 invites researchers worldwide to a fully funded, three‑month residency in Singapore. Fellows receive a SGD 5,000 monthly stipend, accommodation, round‑trip travel and up to US $30,000 in computing resources to pursue projects in AI alignment, governance, safety and security. The program runs from 21 September to 4 December 2026, and applications are due by 10 July 2026.
