AI security startups Humanos and Rig Security secure new funding

Two startups are launching new security solutions specifically designed to manage the risks posed by autonomous AI agents.

Lisbon-based Humanos has raised $3.2 million in seed funding to develop real-time risk scoring for AI agents. The company focuses on assessing an agent’s operational behavior—such as the tools it accesses and the data it retrieves—rather than just evaluating the underlying model. This approach aims to help organizations incorporate agentic behavior into their governance and insurance frameworks.

Separately, Israeli identity security startup Rig Security has launched with $12 million in funding. Rig Security addresses a security blind spot where AI agents operate under human employee accounts, making their actions appear as if they were performed by the person. The company’s Identity Correlation Engine uses machine learning to distinguish between human and agent activity, allowing security teams to block risky agent actions without interrupting the employee's work. The platform is already being used by Fortune 200 companies in the financial, insurance, and healthcare sectors.
