Alterna. fun College launches AI practical training platform

Noda Shuichi Office (operating as Alternative Computer) has announced the launch of ‘Alterna. fun College,’ a practical AI learning platform designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises integrate generative AI into their daily operations. The service is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2026.

The platform offers approximately 500 courses, including 426 specifically focused on AI. To address common barriers such as the inability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world tasks, the service utilizes micro-learning videos of approximately 10 minutes that demonstrate actual operations of tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot.

To ensure skill retention, the program includes direct support from engineers and practitioners to answer specific workflow questions. By utilizing the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s Human Resources Development Support Subsidy, the service can be implemented for an effective monthly cost of 2,800 yen per ID.
