Chinese officials have begun screening all eyewear before the Gaokao, the national college‑entrance exam taken by over 10 million students, while South Korea’s College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) authority is reviewing additional safeguards. The United Kingdom’s exam watchdog has also warned that AI glasses could exacerbate cheating.

Manufacturers such as Meta have sold millions of AI‑enabled Ray‑Ban glasses, making the technology increasingly affordable and discreet.
