AI Startup Emergent Becomes Unicorn as Reo.Dev Secures $11.3 M Series A

Emergent, an AI‑powered software creation platform, announced a $130 million Series C round that values the company at $1.5 billion, making it a unicorn just one year after its public launch. The funding was led by Creaegis with participation from MNI Ventures, Claypond Capital, Sentinel Global, Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed and Y Combinator. Since launch, more than 12 million applications have been built on the platform by users worldwide, especially in the United States and Europe, with expanding adoption in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia and South America.

Reo.Dev, an AI‑native go‑to‑market platform for software and infrastructure sales, raised $11.3 million in a Series A round led by Elevation Capital, joined by returning investors Heavybit, India Quotient, Foster Ventures and new backer Uncorrelated Ventures. The financing brings the company’s total funding to $15.3 million and will be used to broaden its AI capabilities and product roadmap. Reo.Dev’s technology tracks technical signals from developers—such as GitHub activity and package‑manager usage—to help sales and revenue teams identify purchase‑intent, covering over 100 million engineer profiles and serving more than 200 customers including NVIDIA and LangChain.
