AI Startups 5U AI and Design Arena Secure Funding

Munich‑based 5U AI announced a pre‑seed financing round of more than €2.7 million (about $3.2 million) led by London venture firm Emerge Capital. The capital will be used to develop its agentic AI platform that deploys digital workers to automate and document operational tasks in European freight forwarding, such as quoting, booking, tracking and invoice reconciliation.

Intelligence, the creator of the Design Arena feedback platform, raised $7.9 million in a seed round led by Index Ventures with participation from Conviction, A*, Valkyrie and others. The funding will support expansion of its human‑feedback system that lets users rank AI‑generated outputs, a service now used by 5.3 million people worldwide and generating $60 million in annual recurring revenue. The platform helps AI developers improve model quality by providing scalable, reliable human evaluation data.
