AI startups empirik. ai and Guickly secure new venture funding
Two new AI-focused startups have announced significant funding rounds to address enterprise operational challenges.
Empirik. ai has emerged from stealth with $21 million in funding from investors including Sequoia Capital, S32, Canapi Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. The company is developing an autonomous infrastructure engineer designed to manage infrastructure changes. The platform aims to allow enterprises to proactively understand the impact of engineering intent and execute complex infrastructure updates at machine speed, reducing the risks associated with manual governance and reactive firefighting.
Guickly has raised $4.2 million in a seed round led by Engineering Capital, with participation from Converge VC, Neon Fund, and angel investors. Founded by former Google Applied AI Lead Prashant Jalan, Guickly provides a measurement layer for enterprises to monitor and optimize AI spending. The platform targets the shift toward consumption-based AI pricing by offering visibility into tool usage, identifying shadow AI, and helping organizations track the return on investment for various AI agents and models.
