Buildots raises $130 million for AI construction platform

Buildots, an Israeli construction management startup, has secured $130 million in new late-stage funding to expand its AI-powered platform. The round was led by O. G. Venture Partners, with participation from Intel Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and others. This brings the company’s total capital raised to $297 million.

The Tel Aviv-based firm utilizes computer vision and AI to transform video footage from construction sites into digital project representations. By comparing imagery against building models and schedules, the technology identifies completed work, detects deviations, and forecasts potential delays. This provides an automated alternative to manual inspections and spreadsheets.

Demand for the platform is being driven by the rapid expansion of AI data centers, manufacturing plants, and energy infrastructure. Buildots plans to use the new capital to expand its presence in North America and Europe, while extending its software capabilities from the bidding stage through to project handover.
