Two major events in Poland are set to explore the multifaceted impact of artificial intelligence on society, technology, and human cognition.

The AI Summit PJAIT 2026 has commenced, serving as a platform for experts from education, business, and technology to discuss AI implementation and its social consequences. The conference features prominent speakers, including Professor Andrzej Dragan, Jacek Dukaj, and Tomasz Bagiński. Discussions cover diverse topics such as AI in digital media, practical deployments, and the ethical boundaries of responsible use.

In October, the Copernicus Science Centre will host the Festival of Transformation (Festiwal Przemiany). Centered on the theme “Is AI thinking for you?”, this interdisciplinary art and science festival will examine how AI affects human cognitive competencies. The event aims to address whether the use of algorithms constitutes “cognitive outsourcing” and will feature an exhibition titled “In the Translation of Algorithms” to demonstrate how AI interprets and reconstructs the world.
