AI technology deployed to detect risk patterns in online casinos

Artificial intelligence is being integrated into online casinos to identify behavioral patterns associated with potential risks before they become apparent to users. Mindway AI recently announced the deployment of its GameScanner technology within Super Technologies' platforms. This system will be rolled out in several markets, including Brazil, Belgium, Romania, Poland, Greece, and Serbia.

Unlike traditional responsible gaming tools that rely on user-initiated actions—such as setting limits or requesting self-exclusion—these predictive systems analyze gameplay to identify changes that may require attention. While the technology is not intended to provide medical diagnoses, it serves to classify patterns and support human-led interventions.

Additionally, the UK Gambling Commission has noted an increase in the use of AI and behavioral models to detect indicators related to money laundering and terrorism financing within the industry.
