Nuix launches agentic AI capability for high-stakes investigations

Nuix has launched the Nuix Neo AI Agent, a new capability designed to assist investigators, legal teams, auditors, and law enforcement in analyzing large volumes of unstructured data. Built on the Nuix Neo Gen AI Framework, the agent uses natural language queries to sift through documents and images, identifying connections between people, accounts, and transactions.

A key feature of the tool is its built-in audit trail. The AI agent links every answer back to its original source material and records the specific steps taken to reach a conclusion. This transparency is intended to help organizations explain their findings to courts, boards, and regulators in high-stakes legal or criminal matters.

The platform also includes administrative controls, allowing users to cap spending, track usage, and set guardrails on prompts and responses. It integrates with the Nuix knowledge graph and can automatically generate queries to reduce manual workload.
