AI technology updates: NEWTON Media and GFI Software launch new tools
Several technology companies have introduced new artificial intelligence tools to address specific business and communication needs.
NEWTON Media has launched a real-time monitoring tool designed to track AI visibility. The tool allows companies to evaluate how their brands appear in generative AI responses, including how they are compared to competitors and which sources the AI uses to generate answers. CEO Magdalena Horánska noted that as users increasingly turn to chatbots like ChatGPT and Gemini for product recommendations, managing brand reputation within AI training sources becomes a critical competitive advantage.
GFI Software announced the integration of its Eloquens AI assistant directly into the KerioConnect email and collaboration server. Unveiled by CEO Eric Vaughan at the ZEBR AI Roadshow in Prague, the integration allows organizations that prefer on-premise servers for data control and security to utilize AI features. The assistant can sort incoming mail, prepare responses, and categorize messages, such as moving newsletters to a ‘No Reply Needed’ folder, without requiring users to migrate to cloud-based services like Microsoft 365 or Gmail.
