AI transcription tools and wearable hardware expand productivity capabilities

Developments in AI-driven transcription and meeting management tools are expanding across software and hardware platforms.

In the software sector, three major tools are being compared for business use: LINE WORKS AiNote, Notta, and ChatGPT. LINE WORKS AiNote is noted for its high-precision speaker separation, making it ideal for in-person meetings. Notta specializes in online environments by using bots to join platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. ChatGPT utilizes Whisper technology to provide high-accuracy transcription and rapid summarization for individual tasks.

On the hardware front, the Plaud One wearable AI device has been introduced. This system uses eSIM-integrated earphones and a recording charging case to capture audio from in-person meetings, calls, and online sessions. The device can transcribe and summarize conversations in over 112 languages, allowing an AI agent to generate reports, presentation materials, or spreadsheets. The Plaud One integrates with various services including Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, and Notion.
