AI usage in dating reaches 66% among Japanese singles aged 20-39
A survey conducted by Enito Group's subsidiary, with, reveals that 66.2% of unmarried men and women aged 20 to 39 use artificial intelligence in their dating and marriage-hunting activities. Among those who use AI, 74.3% reported that the technology has been helpful.
Beyond assisting with practical tasks like profile creation and psychological analysis, AI is increasingly serving as a confidant. Notably, 85.7% of AI users feel that it is easier to consult an AI than friends or acquaintances. Respondents cited the ability to speak freely without social pressure and the ease of discussing sensitive topics as primary reasons for this preference.
Data shows that AI advice leads to tangible behavioral changes, with 86.2% of users adjusting their actions based on AI suggestions. Common modifications include updating profile text, self-introductions, and adjusting the tone of messages sent to matches.
