Udinese faces coaching crisis ahead of Milan clash

Udinese is navigating a period of deep crisis following a 0-3 home defeat against Lecce, marking their fifth consecutive league loss. Despite the club's current penultimate position in the standings and vocal protests from fans, the Pozzo family and management have granted coach Kosta Runjaic a conditional period of confidence.

Runjaic's future will be decided following a critical seven-day stretch that includes a high-stakes match against Milan at the Bluenergy Stadium, followed by matches against Parma and Roma. In anticipation of a potential coaching change, the club has begun scouting candidates, including Paolo Zanetti and Roberto D’Aversa, and has reportedly conducted inquiries regarding former Milan coach Stefano Pioli.
