Aiam report shows 2.5 million spectators at Italian concerts in 2025
The 2025 Aiam Report, titled ‘The Value of Public Investment,’ reveals that 12,632 concerts were held across 1,157 Italian municipalities, attracting 2.5 million spectators.
According to Francescantonio Pollice, President of the Italian Association of Musical Activities (Aiam), the network accounts for 44.02% of all classical and jazz concerts registered by Siae in Italy. The sector employed 54,186 workers, with total wages exceeding €80.7 million, of which 69.59% went directly to artists.
The report highlights the economic efficiency of public funding. Against an allocation of approximately €23.5 million from the National Fund for Live Performance (FNSV), the network generated total revenues exceeding €135 million by attracting additional public and private resources. Furthermore, Aiam institutions returned €23.8 million to the state through taxes and social security contributions.
