AIB Commercial Bank NV completes rebranding from Banco di Caribe Aruba
AIB Commercial Bank NV, formerly known as Banco di Caribe Aruba N.V., has officially completed its transition regarding the use of the Banco di Caribe name and logo. Following regulatory approvals and statutory changes, the institution will officially change its name to AIB Commercial Bank NV, operating under the name AIB BANK, effective November 2, 2026.
The rebranding process includes a transition of Point of Sale machines and ATMs. However, debit and credit cards, mobile applications, and online banking services will continue to operate under the previous Banco di Caribe branding temporarily until the bank launches a new core banking platform in 2027. During this interim period, Banco di Caribe N.V. (Curacao) will continue to provide information technology and payment processing services.
