AIC Mines finds high‑grade gold at Eloise South, expands Iris copper zone

AIC Mines (ASX:A1M) announced significant drilling results at two prospects within the Eloise tenement in North Queensland. At the Eloise South prospect, a hole intersected 3.2 m grading 92.5 g/t gold, including 1.2 m at 249 g/t. At the Iris prospect, located about 5 km north of the Eloise copper mine, drilling returned a 12 m interval grading 1.0 % copper and 0.3 g/t gold, with higher‑grade sections of 2 m at 4.4 % copper and 1.5 g/t gold. Mineralisation has been traced from roughly 50 m to 400 m depth and remains open to the north, south and at depth. Managing director Aaron Colleran said, "These are outstanding results and reflect the exploration team's growing understanding of the regional controls on copper and gold mineralisation across the Eloise district." The company plans further drilling at both Eloise South and Iris during the current field season to test extensions of the identified mineralisation.
