AICA completes upgrades to Joppolo Giancaxio purification plant

AICA has completed the upgrading and commissioning of the water purification plant in Contrada Cacici, located in the municipality of Joppolo Giancaxio. When the facility was initially handed over by the municipality, it lacked an electrical supply and was missing necessary electrical and electromechanical equipment.

The project involved several key interventions, including the installation of a general electrical system and grounding, the setup of electrical panels for all departments, and the installation of external lighting for security and visibility. Additionally, a prefabricated office and technical room was installed to house the main electrical panel in a climate-controlled environment.

Technical upgrades included the installation of electromechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, and auxiliary units. A SCADA supervision system was also configured to allow for remote monitoring, data logging, and automated management. The plant is now fully operational and electrically self-sufficient, ensuring continuous purification services for the municipality while improving safety and regulatory compliance.
