Aichach academy construction nears completion with timber modules
The construction of a new specialized academy in Aichach is progressing rapidly following the successful assembly of 115 prefabricated timber modules. The project, which includes a specialized academy for social pedagogy, a vocational school for childcare, and a business school, is currently on schedule and within budget.
The modules, produced by Jaeger Modulbau, are nearly complete room cells featuring pre-installed windows, doors, and flooring. These units weigh between 8 and 14 tons each, totaling approximately 1,200 tons for the entire structure. The assembly process was completed without weather-related delays or logistical incidents. The resulting facility will provide a gross floor area of approximately 3,236 square meters across the ground and upper floors.
