Aichi Governor apologizes for Asian Games transport delays

During the final day of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, Aichi Prefecture Governor Hideaki Omura, acting as chairman of the organizing committee, apologized for repeated delays in athlete shuttle buses. Omura stated that while the delays caused inconvenience to athletes, the committee worked daily to improve responses and ensured that competition operations were not disrupted.

Separately, Kozo Inoue, head of the Japanese delegation, addressed the issue of online harassment targeting athletes. To protect competitors, a dedicated task force utilizing AI and legal professionals was established. Officials reported that out of approximately 210,000 monitored posts, roughly 740 requests for deletion of defamatory content were filed.
