Aid to the Church in Need launches global children's prayer initiative

The Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) foundation has launched the ‘Million Children Pray the Rosary’ initiative. Running from October 1 to October 7, the campaign invites children, families, schools, and parishes globally to participate in a World Week of Prayer.

Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of ACN and Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, issued the call, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the initiative. The campaign begins with a vigil in Rome on October 1 and concludes on October 7, celebrating the Feast of the Queen of the Holy Rosary. The theme for this year is inspired by the message from Fatima: ‘At the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.’

Cardinal Koch highlighted the unique power of children's prayer, noting its simplicity and openness to grace. The foundation is providing various creative materials and digital content to help parents and educators teach the Rosary to children through different activities.
