AIDA Cruises hosts charity concert in Hamburg to fund new schools

AIDA Cruises concluded its 30th-anniversary celebrations with a benefit concert titled ‘AIDA & Friends’ at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on October 28, 2026. Featuring performances by Mark Forster, LEA, and Revolverheld, the event raised funds to support the ‘AIDA Cruise & Help’ initiative.

During the concert, AIDA President Felix Eichhorn and Reiner Meutsch, founder of the Fly & Help Foundation, announced the funding of five new school projects worldwide. Ticket proceeds alone will cover the construction of two schools, while the participating musical acts have each committed to supporting the construction of an additional school.

Since its inception in 2019, the AIDA Cruise & Help initiative has focused on improving educational opportunities, particularly in the home countries of crew members and regions visited by the cruise line. To date, the program has financed more than 100 school projects, creating over 16,500 school places.
